Keep a fox out of my garden.

Now I know it sounds strange, but I have 2 loverly foxes that come into my garden, destroy my garden lights, puncture my sons paddling pool and destroy my pond and the plants in it.
Now I love the fact that they come in the garden, i just can't afford to keep replacing things!
So the question is, is there something "friendly" that I can do, or buy, to keep them out? I already have 6ft fences and that doesn't stop them......... and I live opposite a park in a town..........
Tried cat repellant and an ultrasonic device. (Thought I had a cat problem before I caught them the other morning!)
Thanks for any advice!

One of the Old Stylers who keeps chickens has recently recommended dog faeces as a good fox repellant.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Good suggestions guys.......... but I'm afraid the horses will ruin the lawn.
And unfortunately i can't have the garden full of doggy doo as I have got a son who plays in the garden. But good thinking though! Thanks.Waddle you do eh?0 -

Blimey!!!
Landmines will destroy the lawn. And Cd's would work, if it weren't for the fact they are in the garden at night.........
Maybe I'm just lucky that they choose my garden??? lolWaddle you do eh?0 -
Any other suggestions?

Hi, we have chickens which have been attacked by nasty Mr Fox so we have been taking advice all over the place to keep him away.
At the moment we have done several things to keep the fox away. Firstly, all males (human) have been told to pee around the edge of the garden. Then we got old pop socks and tights (not washed and well smelly) and they have been tied on the wire round the chicken run. Some of the tights have been filled with human hair (kindly provided by a local hairdresser). Lastly, the chickens have a radio to listen to all day.
I know you are trying to keep the fox out for different reasons - the pee and socks may help?
So far our chickens have been safe ........................... fingers crossed!
