    Hi Elsie

Well done on joining the WL thread - I do SW myself but don't go to class since I can't afford the money/time etc & have all the books anyway - LOADS of them. So I joined the SW thread & find it really good - you gets lots of tips & encouragement whether you go to a class or go it alone. Anyhow, I have lost nearly a stone since I started & would do much better if I didn't fall off the wagon now & again:D Good luck:j

    Good morning everyone.

Work today for me, its a lovely sunny morning, a bit chilly, but hopefully will be warm later. The novelty of working for a living has definitely worn off.....how long until retirement???:(:( I seem to have worked most of my life.(like everyone else, I know, but I'm having a grumble). The only trouble is, if we finish work, then we have even less money to pay our bills with. Come on.....I need a lottery win.!:rotfl:

Think I may have spoken too early about creditors giving in. Had a couple of calls last night from my "favourite" creditor. LTSB.......grrrr:mad::mad:

SW - hope you have a good night and enjoyed yourself.:D

Sashanut - thanks for the encouragement on the WL. Weigh in day today, all for 50p - courtesy of Boots.!! Its better than almost £5 for a slimming class. Well done on your weight loss too. I shall be doing SW too, I also have the books and its so easy. Its the boredom and comfort eating I have a problem with. I never used to have a weight problem, its obviously a side effect of being older i.e. No family to run around after, less housework etc. Anyway, I am going to take each stone as it comes.:o:)

Have a good day everyone and will be back around 4pm ish.:D

    Hi all:j

Up early with pup, luckily he seems to be getting the hang of things a bit better:rotfl: Nice & sunny here today so far, wish it didn't show up the dust LOL. I have a friend coming round this morning so gotta get cracking on the cleaning....how is it mine never seems to get any less???? Just nearly jumped out of my skin as the puppy has a piggy toy which he just squeaked, well grunted very LOUDLY:D

Good luck with WI Elsie, I know what you mean about the WL, I never used to be overweight but it just creeps up on you I think:eek:the odd stone here & there. We need to encourage each other, my downfall is late at night, if I stay up late I get hungry again:rotfl:Am knackd today as cut all the back grass, blimey there is a lot, still the front to do. No chance of taking it easy here, am just thinking about the gardener who wants £280 PER DAY to come & cut down some stuff as it's getting so overgrown. I better buy a chainsaw & get to it myself:eek::eek::eek:

    Morning All

Happy Birthday moneypenny, hope you have a great time at legoland.

I knw I shouldn't be here but I am due to administrative c4ck ups al over the place, so I'm here. Been a bit poorly so went to bed yesterday.

Elsie hope son gets good news.

Having a huge problem with Amex makes me want to spit, and here is me trying to pay their pesky money back. Definitely need to win the lottery and you know, the ones that have been horrible, I wouldn't pay, I'd hire Niddy as my personal accountant and get him to write letters until they gave up running over the horizon in complete confusion, brains addled, completely flummoxed and publicly humiliated, cos if I won the lottery, I would never need credit again, so it wouldn't matter.

    OK rant over.

Hope you all have a good day, weather looks ok, so far.
