    Good morning everyone:hello:
Just checking in before I go to work. I seem to get time to lurk but not to join in these days. Time seemed to get away from me yesterday (it was my day off but I needed to shop, take OHs suit to the cleaners, get on with jobs etc) I now work long shifts (well long for me) until Thurs so what didn't get done will have to wait.
Its strange though how sport makes me fall asleep. OH was watching one of the world cup matches :footie: yesterday afternoon and the next thing it was an hour later (I did manage to stay awake for the England match though):j
I'm glad your son is feeling well Elsie:)
Keep well everyone and have a good Sunday
Oh I better go and get ready

    Morning cuddles

Glad to hear you are doing okay.:D and everything is going okay for you. I know what you mean about finding the time, its a blooming juggling act.!! And as for falling asleep, I watch so many starts and ends of programmes its unbelievable.!!:o and the worst thing is that you dont intend going to sleep - it just happpens.!!:rotfl::rotfl:I sort of watched the match, I had youngest grandson here, 17 months old! so the rest of the family got to watch it, but I certainly didn't mind not giving it my full attention. I would rather play with the baby.!!:T:T

Have a good day at work, and we'll see you next time you pop in.

    Good morning everyone.:hello:

It's stopped raining..:j...at long last, but I think they said it may be back by this afternoon.!! Where's summer gone.!!:(

I dunno Elsie but I ain't got it

Son has appointment with the Oncologist next week, so things are moving. He had CT Scan yesterday, so we will know what treatment he is going to have next. He seems to think it will be the Chemo from what the Doc's have said. But he feels fine at the moment, so its all good. :)

Glad to hear it. keeping fingers and toes crossed for him

I've been lurking more than posting recently, things have stepped up a notch with trying to get myself fit enough to go back to work. Going back in a weeks time, part time for the first 2 weeks then full time again till the summer hols

Can we move on from the hula to belly dancing... as you can see I have the belly

And don't forget, can can dancers do it for the kicks... :rotfl:

Have a good day all :D

Well Moneypenny that certainly put's the belly into bellydancing!

Raining here, at least keeps the noisy neighbours quiet and saves me laying about them with the pole.

Not going anywhere and just chilling on the sofa.

    see you all later

morning everyone, and a wet miserable sunday it is too. As for the belly dancing moneypenny, they don't put bay windows on slum property;)

Why is it that when it rains I don't want to do anything even inside?still must do the washing and bathroom, back later

    Hi Moneypenny,

That's certainly some belly dancer you've found there.!! I am not quite that voluptous, but its made me want to diet even more.:o

PDD - have you been whacking Clydesdale Bank with that pole of yours, 'cos they have gone mightily quiet - from ringing 3 or 4 times every day to NOTHING. NADA, ZILCH. It makes me wonder what they have got planned for me next.

I know what you mean about the rain mrs i.....but we have got a break in the clouds at the moment, so washing on the line, and I'm doing (supposed to be doing) the ironing.!;)

Ladies you are so funny. I have told the people on Anne's thread about the hula dancing. Thank you so much for making me smile. 000203FC.gif

  • I'll run into Glasgow and give them a good whack, maybe they've just given up and realised they've had more than their pound of flesh, which would be good.

Pouring here to-day, which is probably my fault as I was rain dancing yesterday so that the racket from my very noisy and inconsiderate neighbours would stop. Obviously need to get the timing and fine tuning a bit more precise. Sorry
