Disastrous week last week, came in at £18.03
No spend day for me today and can't see me needing to buy anything this week so will try for £3 again if I'm not too late to joinDebt £26k 18/10/140 -
so far:
Sunday: £10 spent (2 poles to hold the washing line up - apparently they don't like sitting outside in the winter we've just had, 2 x deodrant for hubby cause he convieniently forgets to buy it when he goes to the shops).
Monday: NSD - not thro choice ( was supposed to be buying some bolts to mend the toilet that leaked all over the bathroom floor at 11.45 last night) - DS was poorly so was confined to the sofa with him.
£10/ £50loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Good morning all!
Pointy - please can you show me green for last week - after picking up bits n bobs for the party that I'll be hosting, my total spend came to £189.14 - I'll be reimbursed for some of the party expenses, but I won't deduct that until I've got the cash in hand ... never count your chickens n all that ...
This week I have a few more things to buy for the party and I'm running out of essentials so a big food and households shop is coming up, so I'll pledge £125.
Thanks Pointy - fingers crossed that you get out of your vicious red circle and make it green this week - glad you had fun with the Fun Lovin Criminals - I'm going to have Scooby Snacks stuck in my head all day now!
heatherykins - I have to agree with you too - Debit cards are most dangerous, I now leave all my cards at home unless I have a planned purchase/spend to make - it has made a huge difference. Glad that this thread has got you on track.
Good luck for the rest of the week everyone!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:

Just added up my spends for the 'week' as I'm away from tomorrow. So much for sticking to £10!!!
Spends are:
sendings books £3.26
St johns wort £1.60
moisturiser £1.22
paint 97p
paint that was white not cream! £1.49
shampoo and conditioner for holiday £1.98
face wipes 59p
aaa batteries for heated eyelash curlers and mp3 player 50p
colour catcher (nearly dyed the polka dots in my dress blue!) £1.61
painkillers 65p
key cut for new place £4.80
mcdonalds £1.98
drink and choc for cinema £1.88
cinema £4.50
£1.38 extra to make up euros
TOTAL - £28.91!!!
A few of those items were not strictly necessary (mcds, drink, chocolate, face wipes) or could have waited til after holiday (colour catcher) but the paint saved me losing my deposit and the cinema was alice in wonderland which i've been waiting to see for months and months and months! key was obviously necessary and so was the moisturiser. the shampoo and conditioner were just smaller bottles instead of taking the huge bottles ive already got.
All in all, a bad-ish week but couldn't be helped. Only problem is I'm going to struggle now when I get back from holiday, but I have got lots of meal ideas from the cheap recipes threads.Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Hi everyone can I rejoin, I've had a few weeks where I haven't posted on any of the challenges I'm part of, even thou I've been keeping on track without posting I feel more motivated if I'm part of the offical challenge.
This week, Monday to Sunday I plan to spend less than £7.50 which I haven't already budgeted for.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

Today, brought lunch into work to save cash as I was meeting up with girls from uni for a coffee (or a juice in my case) and a right good moan. Drink cost me £3.00 - I hate these commercialised, over-priced swindlers!!! No drink (especially non-alcoholic) is worth £3.00!!!
Total Spent this week: £70.00/£26.93:A2014 = my year for change!:mad:Credit Cards are NOT my friends and I'm NOT playing with them anymore0 -
