Dorothy Perkins online

I bought a couple of things from Dorothy Perkins online a couple of days ago, and I could have sworn that the front page of the website advertised 10 per cent off, which would automatically be removed at the checkout.
However, there was no such 10 per cent discount when I came to pay, and customer services don't seem to know what I'm talking about.

Can anyone out there reassure me that I haven't been imagining the Dorothy Perkins online sale!??

The 10% off was *definitely* there a couple of days ago, might be worth chasing up on that as it sounds like you've been diddled - you had to enter your email addy to get the discount, right?

I went in through Quidco & that seemed to trigger the promo page, as it wasn't there when I went directly to the DP site - hey, I'm not complaining...I'll gladly take the 5% cashback AND the 10% discount if they insist! :D

    HTH,

    Lucy.
  • I had the same thing happen I went through Quidco and a 10% off page came up when I reached the DP site. I entered my e-mail address as requested but didn't seem to get any 10% off. I assumed it was because the item I purchased was from the sale.

Hi - dont know if this helps but there is a promo on this month - 10% off this week online and instore if you pay using your Dorothy Perkins card - perhaps this is what they were advertising and that is why it did not come off at checkout?

Thanks to everyone who post comps - you are all :cool2:
  • I know they've done this one in the past for cardholders and mentioned that you had to be a cardholder to get the 10% in very small print! However, I 've just gone onto the site via quidco again and there's no mention of being a cardholder.

eta - just done a test order without getting a far as putting my card details inand it's taking the discount off - includes sale items. Looks like there may have been a hiccup with the site last week and we should have got our 10% off.

The offer I saw said the 10 per cent would automatically be deducted at the checkout. In fact, it worked perfectly the last time I used it (not that i'm doing a lot of shopping at the moment LOL!)
