haha.. I wasnt in town sad, in a city not too far away... I wasnt that drunk to be sat in the road.. even managed to walk to a taxi rank! but drunker than I like to get with memory gaps.. never a good thing!
Yeah left it to now on purpose.. hopefully it will get a good price to be honest it is nearly at its reserve and only listed it yesterday!
A camper van would be fantastic! let me know what age your looking for and price.. only problem is with those they can get expensive :-( I will stick with my tent now although I need a smaller one as ours wont fit in my hatchback! not if i want to take the kids anyway! Think the caravan will be good for august though if the weather stays good, i have a feeling I will be getting it at a very good rate0 -

Hmmm...sea would be nice .... you, NM & I are most definately landlocked....with the odd reservoir scattered around but its not the same as waves & sea air is it.
Camper has to be a VW ...had a W reg aircooled one when the kids were little....I could even get the double buggy in the back without taking the kids out!! ...LOL that was well before the seat belt laws btw:) I may hire one for a `road trip` week soon.0 -
I used to live in a little village in wales, Half an hour walk to the sea, I miss it! Not a tourist area, just the locals......found my dream house in Anglesey, three bed bungalow with one bedroom flat annex, own beach!
Just need £450 thou and I'm laughing!"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"

I would love a VW camper sosad.. you could just see me driving one! we did think about getting a campervan last year but with my then husband it was not suitable due to disability.. but of course now... i cant afford one! haha..
And its windy by the sea. I like the countryside near us, and seaside is good for day trips and holls. ooo sad i booked myself on a day trip to whitby £11 return! next month.. :-) thought the kids would like it.0 -

Ooooh I know Anglesey too....love Newborough beach with the mountains of Snowdonia in the distance over the water.
My caravan was on a site near Beddgelert near LLanberis for a whole year some years back....it was lovely to go most weekends & just relax. When I get `back on my feet` I shall do that again. ( in my VW camper;););))0 -

I saw you`d booked a trip on FB....great idea & no driving...Whitby is lovely & you can sleep on the way back too!
Hmmm the ony thing about VW campers ( the old ones anyway) they are a sod to drive...the steering wheels are massive....I put my shoulder out driving my Dads old one!:eek:0 -
It is a long drive to whitby too, I think it would cost me much more in petrol and parking! sleep on the way back? sleep on the way there too!
Yes I can imagine they are hard to drive. I think the vans i looked at last year were the ford transit ones, they look easier to drive.
Well im going to make a move and get off to bed.
hugs all and night night xx0 -
