If the forum team removes posts, the they usually try to remove others the quote or refer to them.

Otherwise whatever issue/argument there was over the posts in question will just go on and on. If it does go on then what normally happens is the thread ends up getting locked or deleted. Not good for anyone.

Oh, and please don't start threads asking why they have done this/that. It just makes more work for them/me , and you are not going to get a reply that way anyway.
