Hi Guys
After hearing all the positive things about Quidco I decided to give it a go myself. I decided to book most of my wifest 40th birthday london treat via quidco and hopefully earn enougth for a birthday meal whilst in London
During january I booked my hotel via quidco and earned £38.7 from the transaction but the earnings have still not been paid into my account? I set the payout limit to £30 and entered all my correct bank details.
Whats happening Quidco??

Hi, just to clarify , did the transaction validate and what is the estimated date showing on your account. If Quidco has received the money you should receive it just after next month end. Otherwise if they havent received it then it will be just after the month end in which they do.0

Just a tip, set your payout limit to 0.00. No point in not getting whatever you can in as quickly as you can. Also, Quidco will take out £5 a year from your payout. (But then there's a 10-day wait whilst your change registers on that page - I think - but no problem now as payments are run at month end.
You can check whether your transaction has been noted on the Quidco website. So I would do that first before asking 'What's happening Quidco?' on a public forum.
My Account then Transactions then 'Compose earnings query'. You can do that to check whether the transaction has been noted, even if you don't actually go all the way through to composing the earnings query. I do that with all transactions. But, it should be showing on your home page as 'Latest Activity'. If it isn't, then that should indicate that you did something wrong, I would think. Quidco are reliable, and over two years, I have never had anything not pay out. BUT it can take a while.
The transaction should show pretty well immediately and will only show as validated in due course. Transactions go via a third party to the supplier, so Quidco has to wait for the money to be paid to them and that takes a while.
The first thing I would do is as above. If it's not showing that you made a transaction at that time and date, then something has gone wrong with the way you placed your order through Quidco. You did, of course, clear cookies before finalising the order (assuming you had looked at the company before going through Quidco)?

Hi Level 200
Just be patient. I find that quidco are reliable, but can take up to 6 months to pay out. HTH.Save me from spending...

HI Guys
Thanks for the replys
Quidco states that the £37.36 was validated on 25th Jan 2010 but the status on the transactions page is listed as tracked??? what does that mean?
(To add, money was taken out of my bank account when I made the purchase, so they have my money... i want my earnings!!)
Cheers

Tracked is the first thing, just means (per my reply) that you made the transaction.
Next is validated - the company has confirmed that they have got your order. The difference in the Transaction page and what Quidco have said, is probably just updating the Transaction page.
Then finally paid. This is where you have to be patient. But sounds like you may get paid end-March. Your Transactions page may indicate when this will be, but don't be concerned. It sounds as if you should get the money. Am unsure if the Company you went through though will wait until after the break?
Jen
PS - I wouldn't be relying on receiving Quidco payments in any specific time frame though (ie paying for your dinner) - as mentioned Quidco pays out month-end and has had to wait for the company to pay their intermediary, then them to pay Quidco.
PPS - reset your minimum payout to 0.00. Do that now. When I was new, I couldn't understand why I wasn't being paid out, and it was because I'd set the min. payment to £25. It doesn't hurt to have little bits of money coming through to your bank account does it? Last month's payment was 24p!0 -
HI Jennifer
Thanks for the replys.
No I have money to take along and not relying on this payment for the meal0 -

Quidco, of course, don't have your money. The Company you traded with does. They will pay their intermediary (forgotten the name of what these people are called), and the intermediary will pay Quidco.0 -
why set it to £30. set it to 1p then you get paid quicker? Also check out topcashback. Offers up to 110% cashback and no fees. Need any more info let me know.Mortgage Start jun 2007 £88500 Outstanding Balance £51000

I am registered on Quidco and Top Cashback and so far I have had nothing but problems with TC.
We purchased a TV at the end of November at £400 and Top Cashback had the site down as a valid site to claim from. My claim never showed up and after months of chasing it’s only just been ok’d.
I think all of these cashback sites seem to be pretty slow when it comes to validating payments and them being ready for payout. One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Any issues are not generally with Quidco or Top Cash Back, normally down to the retailer or company you dealt with. However, I have always found Quidco more reliable.
One criticism of Quidco, since they changed their site layout, it isn't obvious where to find the companies that payout with no purchase necessary. The only one I could find the other day was Kelkoo, not going to get rich at 1p per click.
Is there a way to find these companies?0
