Chopping dried apricots on food processor

Hi!
I'm trying to make something like this which involves placing dried fruit in a food processor and pulsing to a paste.
Every time I had tried to do this the fruit gets stuck on the blades and just whirrs around without getting chopped.
I know that Jamie Oliver also has similar recipes and says to pulse dried apricots to a paste in the Magimix.
I don't have a Magimix (wish i did!!) - has nayone been successful at this type of recipe in another type of processor?
I have a Kitchen Aid Mini Chopper.
thanks for any tips

Try adding a small amount of water, a tablesppon at a time as you scrape the paste of the sides. This usually works for me.0

I have a recipe that calls for dried apricots to be done in a food processor and the instructions actually tell you to add a little water bit by bit and this has worked for me so hopefully it should do the jobEmma

Recently made Delia's Christmas chutney (ok, in December!) and my food processor wasn't in the mood at all. Had to chop a double quantity of dried fruit into tiny pieces with a KNIFE!0
