I actually got the cd with the TImes - bought it specially. Could any of you techies out there tell a 'one-syllable-at-a-time' thickie like me if there is any way to copy said mp3/pc version onto a cd to play from an bog-standard cd player ?
It would obviously be a lot more convenient if my son could play it in his own room, rather than hogging the pc for hours !;)

Did you download & install their "audible manager" thingy?

Need to download the audible manager as the file is a special ".aa" with encryption.
If you do download it,you can't burn it as an mp3 although you can burn it as an audio cd (4 cd's needed) or if you want to play it on your mp3 player you need to look in their devices to find your mp3 player.

Bit of a pain for me as DS has a mp3 cd player. Otherwise excellent freebie

Thanks guys. Yes I finally managed to get it to work. What I'd done is, I had istalled the Audible Manager, but hadn't set it up :doh: so it took me a good couple of hours to do a very simple job :wall:

Got there in the end though :rolleyes: I burned it onto cd, and it took forever on the Poxio burner that you get with Audible Manager. I couldn't get it to transfer into iTunes, so That took nearly another hour. I might get MrH to do it next time if he downloads anything from there - it's obviously too much for my little brain to cope with :rotfl:
