I got this Sony DAB radio from Argos a few months ago and it's been superb. Great sound and overall quality.

It replaced a really cheap poor DAB radio that I returned to Ebuyer with a lot of hassle and haven't regretted at all.

I purchased one of these from Amazon about 6 months ago for £39.99. It was the cheapest DAB at that time.

Sound quality is Ok but a bit tinny with limited bass. With the unit in standby there is a hum regardless of where I put it and if I move the ac adaptor around. Reception is fine and I get most DAB channels(I live in Watford). For the price I'd say it was a good buy.

it has an alarm, 6 presets each for DAB and FM, and is solidly built. sound quality is not up to Pure standards and there's no headphone socket (so cant plug it into a hifi either) ... but for 25 quid it's fabulous value. bought one today and i'm very pleased. a great "kitchen radio"
