Anyone offer me any experience at claiming charges from Goldfish or MBNA?

Thinking of taking the bold step now I'm in an IVA and they cant touch me.
Can anyone offer any advice/experience of how they will react and how easy it is to get my charges back?
Thanks in advance

Interesting one this.
You and the companies have entered into an IVA, where by the amount they expect from you has been lowered. I suppose it could be argued by the firms that by lowering the overall amount you repay, they have already "refunded" the proportion of the fees/charges you are looking to have refunded - and you have agreed that this is an acceptable financial position for you to be in?
You say "they cant touch" you - I also expect that by both parties entering into this agreement, the firms can also say that you have both agreed what is to be repaid, and their rights to an agreed repayment schedule and amount can also not be touched?
Not sure... but think you may be starting something dangerous here, and reopening your IVA?0 -
An IVA definately cant be reopened as it's set and legally binding. I accept I may no longer be able to claim charges though, but I cant lose anything for trying. I suspect my creditors will be more likely to tell me to 'sod off' though.Debt as at 12th July 2006 - £61,345

As far as I can see, the charges have been unlawfully applied and it shouldn't have any bearing on your IVA if you did claim them back though they might apply the refund to the balance of what you owe.[strike]-£20,000[/strike] 0!0
