i dont see if your selling the ticket to make a small profit but it annoys me whenn tickets are sold out and people are selling them for ridiculous amounts

I've bought rugby tickets when cheap at start of the season incase my team by some fluke get to finals. i want to go, but only if my team gets there. If they don't i have sold on, seems a shame to waste them.

I think its a bit mean to buy loads of tickets all purelly for resale. Personally i get tickets for matches i'd hope to see only.

Maybe you should look for a job, something you can do online like an EBay shop?
Ticket touting isn't really something to be proud of...IMO.

most of the time when buying there is a limit to how many tickets you can buy. I bought 6 for a ricky gervais show years ago, 2 were for my bro and I sold the others in pairs for a small profit.

If you buy them.....then you do whatever you want with them.

If you sell them on Ebay for big profits??? not your fault if people are daft enough to pay that amount for them.

I for one have seen tickets on Ebay going for daft amounts and you can still buy them online !!!

They must have the cash to spend on them..i wouldn't buy them off Ebay...not that desp to go see anyone.

Just my opinion...if you flog em and make cash??? well done. :T

My opinion is that there wouldnt be anything wrong with say....

You buy 5 tickets for a show, put them on ebay and put 10% on top of the price which you bought them for + postage.

So say a ticket costs £50...

    50 * 0.10 = 5

    50 + 5 + (postage unsure of price) = 55 + postage.

An extra 5 pounds wouldnt be paying over the odds, infact i wouldnt even notice 5 pounds.

Or you could even leave it up to the bidders and set the starting bid at the original ticket price, that way you arent twisting anybodies arms, if they want to pay more for the ticket, thats their choice.

As long as you're not buying large amounts of tickets, i think its fine.

The terms and conditions are usually written on the back of the ticket in barely readable font size, and in one way or another, will say they can't be resold. Companies so rarely do anything about it as they have so little to gain from preventing it.

People doing this for charity ticket events have been mentioned in the news, and on some occasions will ask eBay to close the auctions.

This would definately be wrong IMO.
