Still no word about IPA

Hello all.

It's been a while since my first questions on here (mainly about the situation with my house, which we got to keep in the end - :j). A belated thanks to everyone who took the time to answer and help out, if I forgot to thank you on the thread itself.

A quick question - my BR happened in the middle of last year. We got an external OR appointed and the house situation was resolved in the Autumn. Since then I've heard nothing about the IPA. My statement of affairs would have been forwarded to the OR by the insolvency office, as it was part of my petition, but so far - zip. (There was less than £100 excess, and with 2 kids in the house I didn't have to include anything controversial to get to that position.)

I'm just wondering what the latest is that you can get an IPA put on you (or queries raised with regard to the SOA you sent in) - would it be that once you're past your discharge date nothing can happen?

Finally, a word of encouragement to anyone going through this - particularly anyone, who, like me, lost a business that drove you into it. My life is better now than it was before BR. I don't have much, but I don't have the millstone of debt hanging round my neck, and I won't be making that sort of mistake ever again. It's a severe and final solution...but it is a solution. Your life gets better from here on in.

Thanks again to everyone.

yep, you can get an IPA/IPO up until the date you are discharged but not after under normal circumstances
