Till spits now seem to come out about every 4 weeks, good ones I've seen have been: free delivery on Tesco Direct, 100 points when you spend £10 at Tesco Direct, Money off shopping (various),
  • Got mine last night free delivery from tesco direct

Not a very exciting one as I only live 5 mins from Homeplus!!

I have never seen a till spit before in my life - sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere in the thread (not got time to go through all 80-odd pages at the mo!) but can anyone confirm that you don't get them in Metro stores? As my local store is a Metro a few minutes away from where I live, I shop in there all days of the week, all different times of the day, buy loads of different products, never have a typical spend (can range from a simple 'loaf of bread' shop to a huge stock up if I've been particularly busy the previous week or so!) - so... They sound like the sort of thing I could do with really but none come my way sadly! Same with these vouchers mentioned in the other threads - I've never seen one before in my life. Do they not do them in Metros or are they just reeeally well hidden / you have to ask for them? I'm coming to the conclusion that Metro stores suck!

I have picked up new quit in the metro in my city centre on the CS desk but they are everywhere anyway, petrol stations etc. I have never seen any
other coupons there but I only go in there on my way to a bigger extra.

The question of till spits in metros has been answered, but if you shop in there all the time, they dont have any reason to try and entice you back with till spits, do they?

I got 150 points WYS £5 on baby or pre-school toys. Wonder what they mean by toys - would nappies qualify? :p

I'll keep an eye out for the vouchers then.

Didn't even think about the till spits as a way for Tesco to entice me back there... but after posting my original message I got two spits today! Both for £3 off when I spend £20, expire next Sunday. Need to stock up on lots of cheap basics soon anyway so that's handy.

Another question though, as I'm fairly new to all this Tesco-related money saving malarky - I do apologise if that's a stupid question but I don't know how all this works really - before I started reading this board I never had any idea how much you could get away with with the vouchers!

If I got £20 worth of BOGOFs (which would actually cost me £10), would I be able to use the £3 voucher on them at the self-scan machine? I'm just asking as I know if I did it online then it would take the voucher off the total before discounts (i.e. it would let me take the £3 off because it would work out that I was spending £20 rather than £10). I wouldn't want to take it to the counter because a real person would obviously see that I was only spending £10 and not £20.

Tesco H&B, So Beautiful, etc moc's work on the total before BOGOFs so I can't see why their till spit ones wouldn't work in the same way... and thats with "a real person".. I've never used a self-scan machine.

    hello welshy :),

on monday, i got 25 pts when buy £1.20 on potatoes!? i don't like potatoes, but OH loves it, so a lot of peeling for me, (OH is not good at peeling, only half a potatoes left if he peels it)

my cc seems to generate till spit every 2 weeks, but OH's cc only generated 1 ever since we had it, strange. and the cc number on card is different from the cc mailing. the cc mailing one is the temporary card number while the permanent card has a different number.

Hardly seen a till spit in ages :(

Had 1 on Monday though for confectionery. My shopping was split into 2 lots and guess which half the sweets were in? :D It was handed straight back to the sa.
