Gosh! .... Combiningtastic! ..... Was it from the Tesco clothing people or just Tescon's in general?LittleBill ... "The riches of a man can be measured by what he can do without"0 -
good to hear someone agreeing with me if u r smart & savvy and double check all offers (if buying goods that r sold buy kg on offer bogof etc check price per kg compared 2 similar product not included in offer.offer produce can often b more expensive to start with so do your sums)hope that makes sense! you can save loads but just remember tesco didn't get to be where it is now giving away stuff. lots of offers are wots known as loss leaders: if you buy 2 jars of pasta sauce bogof you'll often find pasta displayed close by so you'll buy pasta that you probably hadn't planned on buying.the list goes on & onLead us not into temptation...
just tell us where it is and we'll find it....0 -
I agree border. Tescos prices have gone up and they do try and make you buy extras by offering BOGOFs and till spits etc. I do continue to shop in Tescos as I can make huge savings using vouchers and the points are worth me collecting on things I would buy anyway. The minute they stop voucher usage and change the clubcard system I will shop elsewhere0

That's great Zippy! :T On the clothing thread on saturday funky04 mentioned recieving a very similar mailing. She said it was a clubcard mailing, but both me and welshy said that that was very quick as the cut off date wasnt until the sunday! Maybe you can shed light on this? Is it the clubcard quarterly mailing? Or just random...
Edit - never mind zippy, Ive just read the other thread for this mailing and its not the clubcard one, just a happy random clothes one. I will be so pleased if i get one thoughReclaiming for family and friends. Won 4/13 so farHSBC CC - £263.25, Halifax CC - £179.45, HFC PPI - £589.00, HSBC PPI - £498.86, Lloyds PPI 1 - £4000 -

I am with ella2002, as soon as Tesco stop accepting coupons I'll be back at Asda doing one shop a week instead of all these little shops using a few coupons each time
.
But I have loved getting all the clothes over the last few months, £60 worth at a time, for NOTHING by cleverly combining different lots of vouchers. Also with all the H&B vouchers about, toiletries have cost me nothing and it feels good giving what I don't need to friends & family/kids school etc. Will be doing cb soon to clear space under bed.
So I have not spent any more money on my shopping than I would have done and want to keep it that way! I buy bogofs when it is stuff I would buy anyway - but am careful not to fall for their marketing ploys, and always keep an eye on their prices.🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳0 -

Hello people ....
Just a thought about the Nuts/Loaded 100 points Till Spit ....
Took mine in today and scanned it through on 2 childrens mags but no luck ... went to Customer Skirmishes and they credited it for the two magazines I had bought ...
I have done this several times now on Till Spits ... if they have not had an item in at all ... like the Dove range earlier this year ... I did not even buy anything that time ... I just mentioned that I would have bought some if it had been in and the Spit was now out of date ... and stock was now in ...
Also on items that are out of stock etc ... and CS have always been fine with just crediting the points ... It is always worth a try if you get a spit for something you will not/can not use ... easier than swapping ....LittleBill ... "The riches of a man can be measured by what he can do without"0 -

no good when you have already filled up at a different store like me !
So true, I wanted to use it this afternoon and was told that store wasn't involved in the promotion. It does say on the coupon that you can only use it at the petrol station of the store you got it from. I was so sure I had got the till spit at that store - apparently I hadn't.Needless to say, I was very upset. Managed to use some coupons though, and also got a goody bag from the pharmacy, so overall it wasn't too bad.
Agree with previous posters: the minute Tesco stops accepting coupons I'll start doing my big shops elsewhere. I'm already cheating on Mr T with Lidl and Morrisons anyway.'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0
