I've found a great use for all those skirt/trouser hangers that have the clips at the end.
Simply remove the clips and use them for sealing bags of cereal etc. Many other uses as well....

could you use them as pegs?0

homer - you *could* use them as pegs, but the clamp/grip is quite taut compared to a clothes peg which wouldn't be a bad thing on large items such as tableclothes, bedlinen but could leave marks on clothing because there isn't a concave cut out to take account of the actual clothes line, if you see what I mean?
Catdaf - thanks for sharing this tip, it's something I've been doing for a while now and they are really useful if you need a clipboard too

What a brilliant idea. Why did it never occur to me?0

I use them to hang underwear (mainly pairs of socks) in the airing cupboard to dry. Generally means I can get 16 pairs of socks dry if I need to, overnight. I also use them to hang trousers from during the winter when I dry our washing on the curtain rails near the heaters in the bedrooms. This has saved me a fortune in laundrette costs
