I'm glad to say that after pestering my wife for over 1 year she finally submitted a claim for misselling of the policy and along with the help and advice from this site I'm very glad to inform you all that she (we
) have received just over £4k!!

Unfortunately this is what a lot of people have done.The compensation is to cover what the "shortfall" would have been if you'd had a Repayment mortgage. By spending the "compensation" on Cars, Holidays, Plasma screen TV's etc, a lot of thses people are going to be in for a shock, when , at the end of the term of their Endowment, they have a shortfall. What will the do then? Try getting more compensation for being stupid?!0
