Comet Price Matching

Morning All!

I was just wondering if anyone has any recent experience of Comet price matching against another local store?

Through work I get 10% off vouchers for Comet but comet are £30 more price-wise against Currys for the item I want! Comet are £530 and Currys £500 so getting a pricematch would mean I would pay £450 instead of £477.

I know the Comet website says they will refund the difference if you find it cheaper with 14 days but didn't they used to match the price there and then if you had proof (and refund 10% of the difference?)?

Any info would be muchos appreciated

I did it last week on a kettle - did a reserve at homebase and took the reservation in for a price match (meant I didn't need to travel so far) so they will match there and then.
However I don't think they'll price match and let you use the 10% off voucher on top, though you could try it.

looks like they no longer do the price difference thing either.

The way I read it was that the OP buys gift vouchers for Comet through work at say £500 worth and pays £450, meaning Comet will treat them as £500 through the till, so no 10% voucher needed.
