Carrots and Apples were still 30p today, but all but one pack of the Apples were much smaller this week.

The oranges I looked at were quite bruised, I didn't buy them.
    But the apples were good.

Did no one think some of the items in Sainsburys were a bit of a swizz? I mean, the 30p sliced mushrooms- the pack was SO small and I did a quick bit of maths and it was still way more expensive than ordinary mushrooms (though I concede, not sliced...). One of the bags of carrots in my store had 3 in it! I mean, come on...

The potatoes were great, mind. Still a long way overall to beat Morrisons, I'd say...

i think that was the point of the carrots and oranges taht they had 3 in althought saying that im sure the bag i picked up had more than 3 in, maybe they were larger carrots but they weighed the same as 4 carrots or however many are meant to be in the bag

The link isnt working anymore so I guess that offer is over. This is the new offers link.

    http://www2.sainsburys.co.uk/instoreoffers/12_03_2010.htm

That page is dated 12_03 so does that mean the offers started today?
