i have finally tackled my out of control catalogue debt! it was for £200 taken nearly two years ago and i would pay here and there but generally forget about it. so the charges and interest were mounting up. in total i have paid them £230 but my debt is still at £315!!:eek: i decided to get my head out of the sand and sort so have set up a regular DD so i will always pay it every month and it will eventually go away!!!
keeping up to date with other debts i can sleep well at night now!!
(i think we need a hang head in shame emoticon)

Well done to facing up to your debts.
Have you thought about writing to the catalogue company telling them you think the charges are unfair, they may just reduce them slighty.
I am surprised they didn't pass the debt on to their collection department.
