Please help, sending letters to creditors?

hi, i have written a handfull of letters to my creditors asking them to freeze my accounts for a month, after seeking advice from CAB. my question is only a small one, but important. should i send them recorded delivery or first class? if i send them recorded delivery, will there be someone to sign for them? i'd hate for them to get sent back to the post office depo because nobody could sign for them! i just need them to get there ASAP. thanks :-)

I would personally send them recorded delivery, and DO NOT SIGN THE LETTERS, only type/write your name is my advice.0

If you are struggling with debt, you could post an SOA (incomings and outgoings) and we will see if we can help you reduce your outgoings in order to meet your debts etc.
Has your circumstances changed recently? Why do you want the interest frozen for a month only?0 -
I agree with Washer
Send them recorded, you have proof you sent the letters
Fred on security might sign for them, thats their problem if they don't read themPROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBT NERD #869

Going by CAB advice debt caseworkers usually ask for a one month hold on the accounts to enable them/the client to get up to date balances and draw up an accurate financial statement. Also gives time to sort out any eligible benefits etc to ensure income is maximised prior to making pro rata offers. Once you'd got the accurate balances you can also then see if a DRO/admin order etc is applicable. If you are struggling with debt, you could post an SOA (incomings and outgoings) and we will see if we can help you reduce your outgoings in order to meet your debts etc.
