Asda taking Internet vouchers

My mother was told by an assistant last week at Asda that they were no longer taking Internet vouchers. They took the Mum Plus One ones, but not the Home Solutions. Has anyone else been told this? Tesco have had this policy for a few weeks now. I got the Home Solutions cashed at Asda last week. Sometimes it is just the individual serving you who chooses to be awkward, but there again Asda might have decided to do the same as Tesco.

I e-mailed Asda after a cashier refused to take the coupon I'd handed over, here's the reply I got:
Thank you for taking the time to contact us following your visit to our store.
I am sorry that you experienced a problem and that you were disappointed in the way you were treated by one of our store colleagues.
I have forwarded your complaint and comments to the management team at the store concerned, so that they can address the issues in future training sessions.
For future reference our policy on coupons is below.
Once again, thank you for contacting us; as customer satisfaction is our highest priority, we appreciate customer comments and feedback.
Please contact me if I can be of any further help; we hope that we can look forward to welcoming you in one of our stores again soon.
Coupons produced by suppliers/manufacturers (the sort of coupon you find on the back of packets, in magazines, amongst junk mail at home, for example) are acceptable at the checkout provided the item referred to on the coupon is stocked by ASDA. The customer does not have to purchase the specific item referred to in order to redeem the coupon.
ASDA coupons (which bear ASDA's name and can often be found in the ASDA Magazine) can only be redeemed if the customer has actually purchased the product referred to.
We do accept internet coupons but the amount of coupons accepted per transaction is down to the discretion of the local store
Kind Regards

I got this reply today. My Asda is not accepting any vouchers printed off the computer, though up to last week they would take anything. I have sent them another e-mail asking them to inform the management, and asking to be informed when I can next go and do my shopping with vouchers.
"Thank you for your e-mail.
We have not changed our policy and will continue to accept internet coupons.
Kind Regards

For further correspondence regarding this issue, please reply to this email."0 -
What a shoddy reply. I'd call the manager of CS and complain about that reply! Also forwarding the e-mail by post to the manager of the local store with a copy of your complaint would probably help too.0
