I've not been able to find anywhere with this phone to check the spec - where have you seen it.

I've ordered one anyway as ours broke last week (or at least 14month old broke it) and like ednotdave says I can always take it back to Comet. Thanks ednotdave

The equivalent model number is NTL D5103 you could look up on Google etc.

    Here is one link...

  • They have these in store at the same price, at least they do in my local store. Stood 'umming and arring' for a good 20 minutes this morning but decided against buying one in the end. Probably change my mind again in the morning.

Anybody know how I put a little face in the text of my post ? Still haven't fathomed it out since the new site went live.

Look for smilies in the FAQ's contractor, as long as you type in the correct keys, it should convert your smilies for you.

    :)

    It works!
All of this might just be an elaborate simulation running inside a little device, sitting on someone's table.

Could somebody who bought one of these sets please offer some feedback on its quality.

My local Comet still has some in stock at this price, but even at £50 I don't want to waste my money on something that turns out to be rubbish.

So, does everything work as it should do? What is the sound quality like?

    Thanks.

It does what it says on the tin!

I'm very happy with mine - Buy one, try it for a couple of days, then if you don't like it, take it back to Comet saying "it's pants". You have nothing to lose...

Couldn't have got a better phone imo. 4 phones for £50 delivered. Sound quality fantastic - also no antenna for the kids to swing it round. Seems that you need to input names and numbers into each handsets phone book - I've just input into one handset - unless anyone knows different.

Talking to USA sounds like its next door - even better when it's only 3p for the call on 1899.

Need to sort out the ring tones as a bit annoying but can't think of anything wrong with it really. If you need a new phone like we did then get it.

    Thanks for the replies.

I guess I'll be taking a walk to Comet at lunchtime.

Will just have to find out why the set on display looks nothing like the photo on their website!

From browsing their website, it seems that my local store have got their shelf labelling all wrong, as the label indicates it is the 4 handset answerphone discussed in this thread, but what's behind the label is actually a 3 handset set with no answerphone!

Grrrr! Guess I shall just have to shell out for the Panasonic phones that I actually wanted (but are far more expensive!).
