    I have just ordered the chrome style Eco Kettle (I put 14.99 towards it) - DH always boils a whole kettle up just for one mug of coffee, so I hope to cut electric costs if I can train him to use this kettle properly.

    I thought I would take a meter reading to ascertain usage over 7 days, then do the same whilst using the Eco Kettle for 7 days, to see what, if any, difference it makes.
