Spud I know how you feel hun, and I see no end to it, years and years of having to scrape by

We wont be out of debt for about 15 years. The kids will be grown up and flown the nest, and never have known us have no money worries. We'll possibly be grandparents and still be in this mess. What a waste of our lives :(

Sorry, I usually just get on with it without wallowing, but sore feet is getting to me :o

    :wave:Hi Syed

When I was walking home from work today, a lady fell over in front of me. Myself and two girls went to her and tried to get her back on her feet. She was rather a large lady and was a dead weight.

Three very fit guys (and I mean fffiiiiiiitttt) came over and asked if she was ok - I asked if they could help as they were stronger than us, and one of them got behind her and lifted her up like she was a feather! They were only in their early twenties and had muscles on them like Arnie used to, but I just thought it was really nice of them to help.

Made my day! Now, if only I were about 20 years younger....

wow what a story i normally give up my seat on the tube to the elderly or to the pregnant ladies after i do that i feel good as i've helped someone out .. it makes my day :j

    Aw Spud - Hugs hun

I know it is easy for me to say this, but just think about the love and fun times you have as a family. I might be generalising but quite often rich people don't seem to have that kind of closeness in their family.

My daughter has never known me with money - but we are as close as close can be and hopefully she has learnt by my mistakes and will not get into debt herself, and I am sure that will be the same with your two.

Or it maybe that you will be able to spoil the grandchildren and help your children out in that way!

Claire, a random question is your neighbour small? If so could he be suffering from short person syndrome?

    Random Question Claire.

Do you think your neighbour is small enough to be pushed into a crate with enough postage put on for Australia?
