Hi everyone,
I have 3 defaults on my credit file. One company agreed to remove 1 today as it should have been gone due to it being 6 yrs old, 1 is with the lovely welcome finance and I am attempting to get it removed or at the very least get the default date changed from 2006 to 2004 as it should be and the final one isnt due to fall of my credit file until 2012!! They are all paid debts may I add! My question is, how can I get the other company to remove the default out of goodwill (cheeky!) even though they have already refused as they have a duty to report! etc etc! ( I know this is true)
The question is, does anyone have any ingenious and creative ideas how I could get this company to feel sorry for me and take it off!!?? x

Not really no, they have a duty to report accurately and show to other lenders that you are a high risk.0

Hi,
I know they have a duty to report but it irks me when its now paid, was paid within a few months of defaulting and it hangs around for sooo long! It is also no reflection of how I deal with things now! 6 years is such a long time.... sigh! x;)0
