Making sense of credit report(s) and finances...

Evening all,
I have just renewed my credit reports on that Checkmyfile website, and I've scrutinised them all...I'm doing it because my credit file is in such a bad way, but I haven't a clue where to start.
I can paste the details of what they say if it will help you to help me, so please ask. Basically they all hold different information, they all , have different scores, I don't know if the statute barred rule applies to any of them, because they all have different dates on them, one of the entries is on twice, and another one is on as settled and then listed with another DC as active, so im a bit confused.
Without trying to sound like Im getting out of debts, because Im not, i need to know which ones to pay, ie if they are statute barred, i may as well focus my money into the others?
Also, I took out a mobile phone on contract, and havent missed a payment, in the hope it would help my score, and I also have a sim only card, but neither are showing on my report, and I've recently took a vanquis cc out, and that isn't showing either, would you know why?
When I know who I'm paying, I can look at my SOA and see how much money I have spare. I get paid weekly at the moment, and never seem to have any money left at the end of each week, it isn't an ideal situation to be in.
I am not the best person with finances to begin with, and am even more confused since I've seen my credit reports. If anyone can help/advise/needs to see the credit report details *with personal info wiped out* I'll post it.
Thanks for any help,
Kirsty

Hi Lilacpixie, I live in Cambs, it's 6 years isn't it? I just don't know if it's 6 years from the date it defaults on my credit report or not

Hi Fedup!
Statute barred is from the date of the last payment or the date of last written acknowledgement of the debt. Acknowledging the debt via phone doesn't count!
I don't know about credit report, but someone else will hopefully be able to point you in the right direction!

Hi Speirsro,
You're a star, thank you! I don't think I've spoken recently to these people by phone, in fact they have been pretty quiet with the letters to tbh, I moved house 6 months back, but Ive have thought they'd have caught up with me by now if they wanted too.
Anyway, how do I go about finding out when I last made a payment, without admitting that the debt belongs to me (purely because I don't want it to go back to square one and start the clocking ticking again). That sounds so bad, almost like I don't want to pay the money I owe, but it isn't that, I would rather pay those which are still within the 6 years.
Also, with statute barred debts, if they are no longer legally enforceable, do they still appear on my credit file, or will they drop off?
Thanks again,
Kirsty0
