Can anyone help me?
I need to find out if, as I've claimed Incapcity Benefit before, if I am made redundant I can reclaim. As I am struggling with my type of work physically anyway it seems an ideal solution for both myself and my employer.
However with a new mortgage and being a first time buyer I need to know whether I should be desperately fighting for my job or not!
Any help, advice or pointers most welcome!

There are no new claims for IB as it has been replaced for ESA. This benefit has different rules and concentrates on what you can do rather than what you can't. Unless you are unable to do virtually any kind of work your application could be unsuccessful and you would have to claim JSA.
In either case,you would have to wait for 13 weeks for help with mortgage interest,unless you have taken out redundancy insurance.0
