We hope someone has experience in this. I am 64 and my wife is 50. We both work full time and intend to continue working indefinitely. We've found a flat that we like, and placed an offer, and with our combined incomes we could easily afford it; but London & Country says that I'm too old for a mortgage, unless I can provide proof of sufficient pension income to pay the mortgage. I won't have that much pension coming in, so ....
Are there any specialist brokers or lenders that anyone knows of out there?
Cheers

Without sufficient income to support the mortgage payments, no lender is going to lend you the money. Do you have any assests you can sell to raise a bigger deposit, in order to reduce the mortgage payments a little?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
