I use a HP 5150 printer. That holds two ink cartridges, normally the RH slot being for B&W and the LH for colour. The RH can take another type of colour cartridge to facilitate five-colour printing. I made a silly this afternoon. Instead of removing the B&W from the RH slot to make room for the special cartridge, I removed the normal colour from the LH and put in the special one there. Now I cannot remove the misplaced special one; it seems completely jammed despite having gone in without any noticeable problems.Any wise men out there who can make suitable suggestions, what I can do to rectify?

I've got that 'orrible feeling, that I'll have to take it somewhere to be serviced. Knowing the price of replacenments- the old one probably being below £75 and not classed as a photo printer- I wonder, if it might not be worth ditching the old one for a new. A slight consideration is that I gave 2 or 3 spare caertriges types 56, 57, 58, that are probably not compatible with the newer models.
Any views and suggestions for a reliable replacement that is capable of printing good photos on A4. I am a member ( not that good though:o ) of the local camera club.0 -

Funny how you leave a problem and come back to it and it's solved:D :j0
