Free World Cup Ball Delivered Today??!

I thought this forum would be best place to see if anyone else has received a free full size World Cup Football this morning? Quite random that I've come home to find a blue package in porch addressed to me. I open it only to find a brand new Red World Cup Ball and NO paperwork/letter whatsoever!? Just the ball.

The only markings on the package are: If Undelivered return to MRM, PO Box 504, Leicester. LE94 OAE.

Anyone else receive the same gift? I litereally have NO IDEA why I have received and am dubious that unless it is returned I will be billed in a months time or so for a football!!

Well if they tried to bill you just quote the Unsolicited Goods and Services Act and point out that they must either collect the ball or provide you with a pre-paid envelope/box to return the ball in.

If you haven't ordered it it is their fault.

I can only imagine that all england world cup sponsers thought s**t what the f**k do we do with these and have sent them out (ashamedly) to anyone on their mailing list

i entered the draw for the freematchmaster that was in the papers and that came today no return addy tho if u entered that maybe was a replacement for the matchmaster interactive football game

I just googled that postcode and results were a few competions using that address, hope this helps.

cheerios wer doing footballs .. so was duracell if you enterted those comps . so was nation ageographic channel they were all comps though

I dont normally enter comps although I think I may have done one with Gillette around the World Cup time come to think of it. Were they offering free footballs then>?!

How about that thread were people had to ring an electric company (I think it was for electricty) and get a quote, they'd send you a free football?

Had a text yesterday to say my Greggs coca cola football would be sent out within the week - maybe it's from them but i dont remember whether it was a draw or comp..

I had the same thing with a dvd box set of the muppets! Just turned up out of the blue, no note or anything.
