Academic researchers?

Hello! Firstly, sorry if i'm repeating old ground - I did i search but it didnt seem to come up with much. Apologies if im wrong!

But does anyone here increase there income writing academic essays? I have seen an advert for academic answers (possibly also trading as ukessays). They claim to paid up to £160 per 1000 words.

I know that other academic writing companies are scams but these are ltd in the uk and seem pretty legit.

I did undergraduate and masters degrees at a good uni and it seems like an easy way to top up my income (Was made redundant and have had to take a lower paid role)


Does anyone have any experience of this company or anything similar?

I went for a job interview with them last year. Didn't get the job but hey!

Yeah, they seemed legit, it was just the ethical implications as students can ask for an essay that is of any grade... not sure how that makes it a study aid but if you're up to the work why not?

Mmmhh. Don't agree, I am afraid. I also have degree, postgrad, etc. I think it is appalling that people can buy essays.

So they're paying students or anyone they've accepted to write a 1000 words essay? Then sell it to someone else? Isn't that illegal?

It's only illegal if you pass off somebody elses work off as your own.

Whilst there are quite a few of these sites around I am not sure how much they are used and thus how much you would earn. Many institutions use plagiarism detection software and this will flag up a range of things including assignments that are very similar which can be the case when purchsed essays are used. On the other side of the coin if you have essays completed why not try and convert them into articles which could be published - some journals will pay up to average of £70 but it depends on the content. Good luck either way

Essay writing companies aren't ethical. Students will always pass off their work as their own. If they were a learning tool then the essays would be free and searchable by academic institutions to check for cheating. The companies know exactly what these essays will be used for. Unless they tell the student's institution and forward a copy of all essays those students purchase (which they wouldn't) then I can't see how they are anything but dodgy.

I would check my punctuation, grammar & spelling before applying for this type of work. :eek:
