Looking for a Wooden Summerhouse

I'm looking for a wooden summer house for the garden. I want a decent quality one as opposed to 4 fence panels stuck together with a roof. :rotfl:Can anyone recommend where to get one? I'm in East Belfast and will travel round North Down etc. Have seen the ones in Euroflowers, Boucher Road and they have something similar to what I want but not exactly IYSWIM.

Have you looked at something like a barbeque hut / barbeque lodge?
I quite fancied one as it gave you most of the benefits of a summer house, the ability to barbeque in it, and its also usable during the winter, by using the central fire area as a stove?

I like to deal with Shaun Finlay who runs "Woodstoc" on the Bangor Balloo industrial estate. He's a decent honest bloke with a good selection of wood products for the garden.Norn Iron Club member 4730

I don't know much about it, but there's this place... (East Belfast, off Beersbridge Rd)

I agree with ArtyTarty, Woodstoc is the best place to go. About 18 months ago my parents got one to put a hot tub in, I think it was called an Aqua Chalet??? I have seen them used as summer houses, I thought it was a touch on the expensive side, but when I saw it I thought it was very reasonable for what you get. I think they were looking £500 to build it, but my brother and I did it very easily, and we have no experience whatsoever in that area.0

WE got our glorified shed/home office from a place on the Bangor/ards dual carriageway. Just before the Assissi animal sanctuary theres a place on the right, you have to turn off the carriageway and drive along a lane - it was a lovely older man with lots of stories to tell, and was better price than Woodstoc for us, not sure how he would compare for a summerhouse. Also, the price included them delivering it and putting it up and it was done in a few hours, insulated and everything.Im knitty, Im nutty, but I dont know anyone called Nora.0
