omg i totally need to go lol is there any other really good offers in nottingham that i should have a look at and btw did u hear about the tescos glitch on the john frieda products a couple of days ago, and did u manage to get any of the stuff??

LOL no, I'm still wading my way through Herbal Essences, Boots Expert and Head & Shoulders hair stuff, some of which I bought this time last year at Boots :rotfl::rotfl:!

Broadmarsh has a few of the reduced hot water bottles with covers, the large cream and pale pink ones, £3 each (they are on the aisle end next to the clearance stand). and on the clearance stand they have the travel size Smile sensitive toothpaste for 25p (Smile is on bogof still isn't it, so you might even get 2 of them for that price). There is also a "last chance to buy" NO7 stand in the Broadmarsh, on an aisle end in the middle of the store. I haven't tried using any voupons with anything from that stand, but it might work, as the items have reduced SELs, not clearance stickers on them.

I didn't see any real bargains in Vic centre, no clearance stand at the moment etc, except the toiletry bags of course.

Went Tesco's a few days ago as they had a glitch on all of their John Frieda product, went to two Tesco stores, the first one we went to had no john frieda stuff left lol then i went to the big Tescos home store at the retail park, filled my basket and the lady working at tescos was being very nosy while i was scanning my stuff and she said sorry 3 products per customer!! i was soo p**** but luckly i had my 2 sisters and dad with me and picked up 6 JF products before to see if there was a glitch which she didnt see me when i brought the first 6 shampoos. I was so frustrated because there was alot of stuff still left in my basket such as syrums etc but i brought all the main things that i actually use such as the shampoos and conditioners which came up to £10 for 15 bottles what a bargin, but if i see that lady again theres going to be trouble lol, btw thanks for telling me all the deals xx

Oh Herbal Essences, I still have loads of that but washed my hair with John Frieda Illuminating Shine Shampoo and Conditioner today for a treat. Looks great. Just ate some of my Tesco Gammon Joint-lovely. Also about to about to put on the dishwasher with my new Finish Quantum thingy ( £1.00 instead of £11.00 ) Thanks to all who pointed out these offers and of course thanks Mr T. Oh and does anybody remember Tesco H & B vouchers. Those were the days.

Today there were still plenty of the Floral Berry hanging washbags, holdalls and beauty bags (all of these are a really good size) in both stores (more in the Broadmarsh, both in the bath accessories aisle, and on the clearance stand at the back of the store on an end aisle just before you get to the photo bit). They are all reduced, in the £2 to £3 price range. Plus in Vic centre, they still have the No7 peach holdalls, beauty bags and small cosmetic bags, also at 75% off (small is £2, beauty bag is £3, holdall is £3.75). These are with all the other accessories, to the left of the door as you come into the store opposite Peacocks. There are some more of the peach ones also in the travel aisle, near the luggage tags, etc etc. I didn't see any Ted Baker bags today in either store, but in the Vic centre (where I got the brick-shaped one for 63p on Thursday) they still haven't taken off the SEL from the shelf (again, in the accessories bit). So there might still be more of them to come out onto the shelves?

    Hope this helps,

Hi balletshoes, didnt think about them leaving space for more reduced stock. There were some empty spaces in the 2 local Boots I visited yesterday so may be worth another visit. Thanks :)
  • hiya poppped to cardiff bay store yesterday and picked up the big holdall flowery bags for 1.25 and the smaller wash bags for 1.00 and also the little ted baker bags for 1.00 bargain me thinks

    Dear Rose28454

Why don't you complain about these horrible women who try to belittle you. They should be grateful you are providing them with employment and its absolutely none of their business what you choose to buy, or what it costs. Get their names and write an important looking letter to Head Office highlighting specific events, behaviours and consequences (eg, how you felt afterwards). Good luck
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

Ihave complained twice in store. Once when I had a problem with a voucher going through ( although it should have) and after I left the store my daughter wandered in looking for me and heard them slagging me off. She took them to task and said I was her mother. I then returned to the store and spoke to the manager. Unfortunately he is a young man and all the women in there are older married women and I am afraid he is not very forceful. He apologised and sorted out the problem. Another time I actually said to the supervisor who had caused that problem "Do you have a problem with me because every time I come in you send the assistant who is deaf to follow me around" She replied by saying " Oh she follows everyone as she is disabled. We have complained about her ourselves" A blatant lie!
I had a problem with a voucher in Tesco recently and they were so rude to me I left the item of shopping and told them to keep it and I did complain in writing to Tesco Head Office and although I did not have a reply I get treated much better although the self service lady cuts me dead now although sje used to be friendly. So when she is on self service I go to another till.
I am away for 2 days but when I get back I will get their names and I will complain about them. You are right I should.

Ted Baker makeup/wash bags £2.50 in Poole Boots today on end of an ailse at back of shop. Few floral berry shower caps £1.50 and there was 1 floral berry drawstring washbag left, think £2. This was about 4.30pm so reckon would still be there in morning! HTHs
