Loan or add on to mortgage?
I'm looking at geting a loan of approximately £5k to amalgamate all mine and my wifes credit card and a few hp repayments - so that we're not saddled with this when we move house in approximately 2 years and help with the monthly budgeting.
We have a pretty low mortgage (compared to getting on the ladder these days) of approx £47k on a house worth around £160k.
With repayments being about £220 per month on a 5k loan for 24 months, would it be a better idea to remortgage to include the extra 5k, as we're looking to sell the house in 2 years time and therefore paying off all the loan?
Any advice / suggestions would be well appreciated!
Thanks in advance
