No the OR would not be interested in this as it is your childrens money. If Halifax do decide to close it then they will give you the money in the account and you can set up a new fund, it can still have your name on as a trustee.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Angie, were they 'normal' savings accounts? or the child trust fund ones?
Our boys accounts are with the Dunfermline, they don't seem to have closed them, but then I just realised they don't have our new address so I wouldn't know would I?!

They were normal savings accounts. Child Trust Funds weren't around when my 2 were born.
