Hi
can anyone recommend an austion site similar to ebay, which accepts payment methods other than paypal ?
I have used ebay for years and had nothing but problems with paypal !!
I have an ongoing dispute and they have suspended my account !
Any ideas/ alternatives much appreciated, just sell household items, toys, clothing etc....
Thanks

The fact that you can't automatically think of another site is half the problem, everyone thinks of ebay, no one really bothers with the smaller ones at all.
There is www.ebid.co.uk which is probably the next biggest, but they do suggest paypal as that gives buyers confidence, there are very few buyers on there anyway and not accepting paypal will mean you will struggle to sell anything at all. However paypal is not compulsory on ebid.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I agree, everyone's first thought is ebay and that gives the game away. Even on TV presenters joke about things going on ebay (like the Brit award won by NG this year).
As a buyer I haven't had much success on other sites, so as a seller I'm not keen to move from ebay.0 -
What are your problems with Paypal? As most problems with paypal are due to not totally understanding and sticking to the T&Cs. If you can tell us the problems people may be able to help sorting out your paypal account0

What seems to be your problem with eBay? The only reason that your account could be suspended is if you have violated their policies.Mr. Mulla0 -
