Cooking for dinner parties

Just after a bit of advice if anyone can help. Without wanting to sound big headed, I am a very good cook and can do a variety of cuisines. I was considering trying to out my services out for dinner parties etc, where I could go to peoples houses and cook three course meals etc or make dishes that only require heating so they can do this themselves.
Has anyone done this before, or aware if there is any demand for this? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

You'd need to get a basic food hygiene certificate, have your kitchen assessed by environmental health and public liability insurance.I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

Thank you for this. Not one to do then as would not be worth my while. Would this work if I went and cooked in someone else's home for them?0

you'd still need the hygeine cert and public liability insurance - what would happen if you burnt their house down or poisoned them? You wouldn't be able to do any prep at home without environmental health consent.
Is there even a market for this where you live?I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

I am not sure. It would just be done on an ad hoc basis, although there are some wealthy areas around me. Not worth the hassle though so I will be giving this one a miss.

Other possibilities might be wedding or speciality cake decoration, and selling at Country (WI) Markets if there is one near you, Country Markets website is useful for home-based cooking for profit.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
