I applied for a new job back in january and it was through an agency. They advised me that the employer definitely want to see me for an interview but they were just awaiting a sign off for the job to be formalised.
It is now March and despite phoning the agency weekly for updates, I keep being told the employer are still awaiting the sign off.
Do I phone the employer up myself and ask them for an update? Would it look bad or would it show that I really wanted the job?

I have had the same thing happen to me. If I were you I'd concentrate on searching for other jobs. If this one finally happens then all well and good but keep looking for something else. The last time this happened to me the job never materialised but the something else did!0
