Update completed on the doc. Done really well by overpaying 1.5k, but in all honesty thats just over 50% of our needed amount to keep on track. Still it's a good start. Good luck allMFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

Just did my update.
I have only paid £951 off the balance this quarter. My monthly mortgage repyaments are £620, but as I can access my mortgage account online this balance inlcudes the monthly interest that is credited to the mortgage, so I am way off the target of £2.5K a quarter to clear the mortgage by 40.0 -
Just put in my update (Guest #22)
Our outstanding mortgage balance is now £32384 having paid off £3815 since starting this challenge :j

Mortgage payment time again - my favourite time of the month

Making good progress here, hoping job will hold out a few months later to enable me to get over the finish line.
Made a big milestone this time, and the light at the end of the tunnel can be seen.
£1900 overpayment + £40 mortgage payment (£21.15 of which is interest):
Old Mortgage balance: £10,200
New Mortgage balance: £8,250 (£19K paid off since start of year)
Milestone achieved: 4 Figures!!!!! (<£10K)
Milestone achieved: Now 5 months remaining at current repayment rate
Milestone achieved: <£0.60 interest a day (was 69p, now 57p)
Current target: Repay mortgage by end of November. (if job holds out)0 -
