    Wasnt on yesterday as I had to get an assignment finished, in the mean time the budget was overseen.

    A neighbour is moving out and they offered us 5 blinds, pretty much brand new, bought about a year ago, but no has lived there in the last 8 months and she sold these to us for £70, so really couldnt say no as new thesse would cost up over double that to get them measured and made!

    But apart from that unforseen expense we have done pretty well, and hopefully my partners cousins baby well arrive today, she went in to the hospital last night, so really looking forward to that!!!

    Hi,

    Well things have changed around here and lots of money needed.

    So a little update;

    We are now engaged and hoping to get married (CP) summer 2010
    I have returned to university to do a masters and it is costing 3.5k per year and we are surving on a single income
    we are moving house and are trying to furnish it all over the next few weeks
    Still have the car loan although it is going down slowly but surely!

    Therefore we really need to be stricter with r money saving and budgeting and meal planning!

    So have decided to try and keep a debt free diary to prevent us getting into any more debt!

    Well today is my only day off this week, I have taken on some overtime and this will all add up to help pay for some of the house furnishing!

    we are heading tonight to look at carpet and currently have a guy in wallpapering for us (2 rooms for £120). We need to get flooring for 2 bedrooms, living room/dining room, kitchen and bathroom - so hopefully we can get all this for £400 or less :-s
