1p game guide book in GAME!!

I was in GAME today to get my son the "New Super Mario Bros" game guide book, and while I was there I came across a few shelves full of other reduced guides. Most of them were priced between £4.99 to £7.99 but a good few of them were stickered at 1p!! I picked up a copy of the "Indiana Jones & The Staff of Kings" guide book for 1p - my son doesn't even have this game yet, but at that price I couldn't refuse, and he probably will end up getting it anyway!
The guide covers the DS, Wii and PS3 versions of the game.

I think some other books were also included at this price but obviously it will vary from store to store (this was in Clayton Sq, Liverpool) so worth a rummage!

The game guides always go down to 1p after a while (I used to work for Game ). When they have their offers of the week like "item half price when you buy something else" I like to have a search of the old guides for any cheap ones to get the offer. (I'd never pay full price though - theres www.gamefaqs.com for that!!)

*They almost never get stickered down in price though so you have to check the prices at the tills.*
