My husband said he's seen it before - the Radio Times has it marked as a repeat. I don't mind, they're very entertaining - the bit on the ice rink was funny :rotfl:.

The Village Bakery bread looked very yummy. I really must make an effort to make my own leaven for my bread.

Never watched it before as I usually avoid any cooking progammes (as they tend not to use mr s basics lol!) But I loved it , it was so funny and I am sure the chicken thing they made could be mse'd!!
Was that a Cobb(sp?) bbq they used when cooking with the sausages does anyone know btw?

It's actually a 2-year old episode, see here

Bit of a swizz, but I guess the BBC are capitalising on their popularity.

They are really popular - my children will all sit and watch them, as does my DH. It's the only cookery programme we watch. There's absolutely nothing they ever make that I would make though as we are vegetarian, and I do have to close my eyes sometimes!

I really wish they'd show the Hairy Bakers series again as I've never seen them, apart from the very first one which they showed a few weeks ago.

I recorded last night's programme and am watching it right now and it's made me crave rosti! Might make some tonight.
