First Time Buyer - Bad Credit

Hi people,
I was just wondering if there are any mortgages available at the minute for first time buyers with a bad credit rating? I have paid all my debts however there are still 5 defaults and 1 CCJ remaining. They are due to drop off in 2012.
If there are any products available what sort of deposit is required and is the rate of interest horiffic?
I know it was the subprime market that caused the economic downturn but maybe there is something available.
Any pointers/ advice would be greatfully recieved.
