Purina One month Challenge. Advice please

I signed up for the Purina one month challenge, and now being on week 2, got a "Buy One Get One Free" coupon for the 1.5kg Variety Pack. Does anyone know if this scans like any other coupon or do you really have to "buy one, get one free"??
Any help would be appreciated.

For it to scan like a normal money-off coupon, it should start with 99. Now look at the last 4 digits. Ignore the very last one. Do the 3 digits before look like a price in pence (i.e. 399 = £3.99 or something - no idea how much Purina is ). Unless those three numbers are 000, in which case it won't scan, you're on to a winner, and it should scan no problem.
Hope that made sense.0 -
How does the Purina Challenge work anyway? Is it like any other Try Me Free offer?0

Thanks for that. The barcode does start with 99, and the last digits indicate a value of £4.49 (which sounds about right for a 1.5kg bag). Great! Like you say, sounds like a winner :-)
I'll have to use this on selfscan because I imagine the SA would see BOGOF and refuse! Knowing the Tesco self scans allow vouchers of 33% of your spend without needing authorisation, I reckon I'll need to spend £13.47. Agreed?
About the challenge, you sign up and answer a few questions about your pet and they let you download a voucher. (Can't remember how much). One week on, they email you asking you to answer a few more questions online about your dog (is she more energetic? etc) and then you get this BOGOF voucher to download. Hopefully there will be more vouchers over the month :-)
TIP: when you sign up, they ask you what size of pet food bag you buy. Select the biggest, because I think this influences which BOGOF voucher you get!
Good luck!0 -
UPDATE, voucher worked fine on Tesco selfscan. £4.49 off a £35 clothes/food shop, despite voucher being described as BOGOF.0

Yeah, you get £1 to start with and then a week or two later you should get an email inviting you to answer some questions, then you get the £4.49 BOGOF voucher.0
