My bank charges their responce

Thanks in advance for any help offered.
I have tried many time on the other boards that are specifically for the bank charges. I am I member but it wont let me in!!
Anyway this is the letter I sent them
My request
I am writing to ask you to refund to me the charges which you levied on my credit agreement.
I now understand that the regime of fees which you applied to my account in relation to late payment charges and so forth are unlawful at Common Law, Statute and recent Consumer regulations. If you say that they are not then you will pleased to demonstrate this by letting me have a full breakdown of the costs to which you have been put by as a result of my breaches in order to reassure me that your penalties really do reflect your costs.
Additionally it has now been confirmed that a high level of penalties are considered to be unfair per se by the OFT who reported on the 5th April 2006 and are therefore presumed to be unlawful in the absence of specific proof to the contrary.
Your responsibilities-
I would draw your attention to the terms of the contract which you agreed to at the time that I opened my account. It is an implied term of that contract that you would conduct yourselves lawfully and in a manner which complies with UK law.
I am frankly shocked that you have operated my account in this way as I had always reposed confidence in your integrity and expertise as my fiduciary.
I consider that your repeated representations that your charges are fair and reasonable are deceptive and that they have deceived me into agreeing to pay them.
You concealment of the true nature of your charges has prevented me from asserting my right until now.
What I require-
I calculate that you have took £144
This being £24 on each of the following dates-
23rd May 2005
21st Oct 2004 x2 charges
20th Aug 2004 x3 charges
My targets to resolve this matter
I hope that you will enter into a sincere dialogue with me about this matter and I am writing this letter to you on the assumption that you will prefer to do this than merely respond with standard letters and leaflets.
I will give you 14 days to reply to me accepting unconditionally my request in principle and letting me know a date by which I will receive payment.
If you do not respond by post only please, or you do not respond positively within this time period, I shall send you a letter before action giving you a further 7 days in which to reflect. I believe that these targets are more than sufficient for a large company such as yours with dedicated staff and departments.
After that will be no further communication from me and I shall issue a claim at the expiry of the second deadline. This letter has been sent to you by recorded delivery.
They haave written back saying that they think there charges are fair. They dont consider any charges made should be refubded.
So what do I do next guys?
I didnt expect them to simply hand me back the money but as I cannot get onto the other furums im lost.

You need to give them their 14 days and then send your letter before action. Is it https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk that you can't get into.0

it is that website
I have joined got a user name etc but it just wont let me sign in!
Im in for 14 days waiting then. Is that from the date of their letter or from the day I got it through the post0 -
14 days from when you sent them your first letter. In that you said you would give them 14 days before sending them a letter before action. If it has already gone passed 14 days then send then your lba asap0

hi - why won't it let you sign in? It does sometimes have a funny glitch where you log in and it says you've tried 5 times and failed so is locking you out for 15 minutes. That's only happened to me twice though and I'm on the site numerous times daily.
At least one moderator is a MSE'er also, they might be able to help if you start a thread.
you need the letter before action next , which gives them their 'next' 14 days.0
