Depends whether you are old rules or new rules.

Best to answer that as quick as possible in order to get the best advice from people.
When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.

Old rules complicated system but allows you housing costs and also allowances for your children that stay with you .They will take wtc as income as well .Someone else would be able to elaborate later what they take as the NRP's income .I would take advice before suppying your wifes details but they will put you on a cat B interim maintenance assesment .

Just now i'm not better off giving them my wives details as a friendly CSA officer worked it out for me

If your case was opened in 2001 you will be on CS1 - old rules. This allows you housing costs and a personal allowance and allowances for children who live with you.

do they take into account a new partners wage if they live with you and if you have a child with them,
or does it go aganest you on an assesment

they also take into account your fuel costs to work...

Yes they take account of your partner's income but only to calculate the protected income - it isn't used to work out how much you should pay in the first instance. If you have a child with that person then you will get something towards the cost of them -either the full amount or half, depending on the income of the partner.

If your travel to work costs are for 150 miles per week or more AS THE CROW FLIES then you will get 10p per mile for every mile over and above the 150 miles.

Depends what ruler they use to measure the distance as all roads from your home to your place of employment are straight :)

I'm about 300 miles per week and i am allowed £7.20
