Multi buy query

Hope this is the right place to post....want to buy Werthers when I do my online shopping! They're on a multi buy 2 for £3. There are 3 variants. 2 are £1.97 each but the 3rd is only £1. What happens if I buy 2@£1? Do I still pay £3:(, do I pay £2 or some other £? Hope someone can advise:)

2@ £1.97 = £3.94 - 94p = £3.00
2@ £1 = £2 - 94p = £1.06
