Koftas, asparagus, and anything else I think of!

Want to make some lamb koftas. However, all the recipes say grill or griddle. Was just wondering whether I can whack them on the George Foreman?
Also I bought some asparagus. I like it. But don't know what to have it with, or how to cook it! :undecided Was thinking a chicken and asparagus pie, but think I maybe punching above my weight making pies.
Can anyone help?

Yeah, I'd think you could use the George to cook the Koftas. It might even be preferable as lamb mince can be a bit fatty, and this will allow the fat to drain. You could grill the asparagus when the koftas are nearly done too. (sorry never had them in anything, just grill or roast them - small amount olive oil and sprinkling of salt, maybe some fresh herbs if I have some).
It's only a game

Koftas are fine done on a George Foreman I find it the easiest way to grill because you can turn them as they cook without faffing about trying to look in an oven (where most grills are nowadays)Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Asparagus is (for me) best lightly steamed and served with a bit of butter. Its so delicate you don't want to overpower it.
To prepare it, bend the stem until it snaps. It snaps where the woody bit is, you don't want to eat that as a veg, but use it in soups and stuff
You can also griddle / grill it, but I think that's a waste
Hope that helps!

Hi SS,
The koftas will be fine on the GF.
I agree with previous posters that asparagus is best slightly steamed, then return it to the (empty) pan to let it dry slightly in the heat from the pan. Add a knob of butter and serve.
This earlier thread has more ideas that may help:
Asparagus - what to make?!
I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the suggestions together.
